“ Superb, fresh food. The fish in particular is exquisite. This place, the food, service and atmosphere never fail. A great spot for lunch, but my favourite for an early dinner to watch the sun sink low across a pink sky. There's a sophisticated wine list to accompany the not over complicated food menu. There's a handful of staple dishes and a specials board which changes seasonally and daily due to the catch. The restaurant is incredibly efficient and the staff are fabulous; warm, friendly and very hard working. Definitely worth a visit even just for the view of Burgau beach. Book in advance! ”
“ Seeing that it was my Birthday I decided to have Lunch at the Beach Bar, Fish was what the Palette had decided I should have, and Wow, Wow Wow, we throughly enjoyed our meal, cooked to perfection, service was amazing, the Ladies had some cocktails which just complimented our experience. A visit to this establishment is very worthwhile. Thank you to everyone that made our Lunch date a very happy experience ”
“ Came to Burgau because of this place and we weren't disappointed, the inside is all wood with live Weeping Figs at one end, the staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, the view is perfect, looking out on the sandy beach and crashing surf. The food was delicious with a really good selection of desserts, if you get the chance give it a go. ”

“ We had a booking today at 2pm, we had a call from one of the owners to inform us that the sea was breaching the path to the bar, so we may have to leave from a different route, great to be told this!! We arrived on time, had the most amazing meal, the sea was rough and loud, this added to the atmosphere… We had such a great afternoon ! When left, the owner led us up the stairs on a different route, such a nice guy, so helpful and accommodating, witty. This place is great, we love it and it was a real privilege to escorted away from the rough sea Up the hill on a different route ”
“ You wouldn’t think much of but when tasting the food you will get impressed. If you eat fish you MUST order the butterfly seabass. We got a big one that was perfect for 4 people. We paid 72euros for it with potato and salad sides. The staff is very nice and accommodating. ”
